Responsibilities:
Build and manage dashboards for various stakeholders (both internal and external) that will help drive key business decisions
Collaborate with the Data Engineering team to maintain, evolve and extend existing data models
Conduct ad hoc analysis as well as the creation of scalable long term solutions with the aim of Identifying, interpreting trends and patterns in complex data sets
Clean, aggregate, transform and analyze data from multiple data sources
Adopt simple business style writing to ensure that recipients and users can easily grasp the outcomes of all analysis performed.
Assist with data collection and modeling for key initiatives
Perform data profiling to identify and report anomalies in large datasets
Provide feedback to product managers on efficient ways to model and collect data in software systems.
Requirement:
Minimum 3 years of proven work experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience & analytical skills
Technical expertise in data models, database design, and data mining
Strong visualization skills (Data storytelling) using any visualization tool such as PowerBI, Tableau, Mode, Metabase etc.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, analyze and disseminate a significant amount of information with strong attention to detail and accuracy
Proficiency in one or more programming languages especially Python and R
Adept at SQL queries, report writing, and presenting findings
Ability to think creatively about solutions, including thinking about the best metrics to drive the business
Strong verbal and written communication skills with a strong desire to collaborate with Engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders
Ability to communicate data insights to management in a clear and concise manner
